He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Spicer; his wife Naomi L. Spicer (Mallory); and his sister Iona Hoffman (Pat). He is survived by: his children, Mike Spicer (Diana), Celina, Vicki Piper (Denny), Doug Spicer (Lucy) and Van Wert; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Molly, Cynda, Matt, Libby, Lynsey, Sara and Kristin. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
