He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert "Slick" Dabbelt and Patricia Dabbelt. He is survived by: his wife Barbara C. Dabbelt (Kerns).

Viewing will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home (901 Myers Rd, Celina, OH 45822). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (229 W Anthony St, Celina, OH 45822). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery (3845 Tangeman Rd, Coldwater, OH 45828). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
