He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Purdy and Doris Purdy (Rhoades). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Purdy (Smalley); his children, Jody Ritter (Brett Micheal), Tim (Laurie Purdy) and Jay (Christine Purdy); and his grandchildren, Ryan and Abbey Ritter.
