He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Margaret; his siblings, Nancy, Eileen, Madeline and Tom; and his siblings-in-law, John Gallagher, Jim Cunnane and Pauline Butler.

He is survived by: his sister Maise Butler; and his cousin Bishop Paul Connell (Clonmacnoise). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Center.
