Opperman of Wapakoneta, OH; his wife Cheryl Sawmiller; his children, Christopher Smith (Heather) of Piqua, OH and Tammifur Hunt of Celina, OH; his grandchildren, Tyler Hunt, Spencer Hunt (Madison), Ciara Limon (Louden), Ethan Smith and Landon Smith; and his brothers, Randy Opperman (Donna) of Lima, OH, Kevin Opperman (Kim) of Sarasota, FL and Craig Opperman (Judy) of Wapakoneta, OH.. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
John made the selfless gift of body donation to The OSU Anatomical Gift Program.
