With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John W. Steele of Celina, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce A. Steele (Mobley); his wife Barbara J. Morgan; his grandson Dustin; his great grandchild Kobe; and his siblings, Terry Steele and Connie Stolzenberg.
He is survived by: his father Vernon L. Steele; his children, Tiffanie Mavis (Chris), Heather Heitkamp (Andy), Jackie Binkley (Travis), Paris, Tennesee, Justene Fletcher and Bethany Roberts (William); his grandchildren, Austin, Kirstin (Zach), Weston, Jaidyn, Ryan, Trent, Ashley and Brooke; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Madalyn, Jameson, Linkoln, Braxton, Brixton, Maverick, Cambri, Ryker, Karter, Ryder, Zailey, Hazley and Kalon; and his siblings, Rick Steele and Donna Williams.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory (1102 Lincoln Ave, Wapakoneta, OH 45895). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
