It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Young of Celina, Ohio, born in Hamilton, Ohio, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Brown Young and Geneva Young (Young); and his grandson Adam Ellinger. He is survived by : his wife Wilma Sawmiller; his daughters, Glenna Clendenen (Rick) of Seattle, WA and Terrie Ellinger (Tom) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Tracia Ooink (Juan), Tony Clendenen (Lara), Amanda Ellinger and Brian Ellinger (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Xander, Stella and Lily.

Memorial contributions may be made out to the Grand Lake Hospice 1122 E. Spring St, St. Marys, Ohio 45885.
