He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Hartings and Idaleen Hartings (Sutter). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hartings (Schilling); his children, Alan Hartings, Carley Hartings and Will Hartings; and his siblings, Jim Hartings (Sherry), Robert Hartings (Lois) and Carolyn Bates (David).
