She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Derrickson; her parents, J. Dale Shanks and Mae Shanks (Liby); and her siblings, Donald Lee Shanks, Dorothy Parrish and Richard Shanks.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janelle Nuding (Richard) of Celina, OH and Janene Dubach of Gainesville, VA; and her grandchildren, Kevin Nuding of Celina, OH, Kim Weadock (Kevin) of Celina, OH, Lori Simber of Gainesville, VA, Nathan Minton (Kim) of North Pole, AK and Megan Beckett (Phil) of Warrington, UK. She is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
