She is survived by: her children, Julie Smith (Jeremy), Duane Thurston (Xuan) and Joseph (Arlene); her siblings, Dorothy Grone-Trentmen (Merlin) and Robert (Virginia); and her grandchildren, Anne Thurston, Amanda Thurston, AJ Thurston, Gabriel Thurston, Maximus Thurston, Brandon Smith and Kaitlin Smith.
