With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lisle Laverne Wendel of Celina, Ohio, who passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lisle Wendel and Norma Wendel (Gehm); his siblings, MaryAnn Roberts (John), Larry Wendel, Gary Wendel, Terry Wendel, Koni Stefano and Doug Wendel; his brother-in-law Herman Rogers; and his step-brother Wayne Wilson.

He is survived by : his wife Kathleen Harner; his children, Chris Wendel of Celina, Lori Schmitmeyer (Chad) of Celina, Greg Wendel (Jennifer) of Tampa, FL, Angie Cox (Brian) of Celina, Derek Wendel (Selina) of Celina and Leah Salzmann (Matt) of Celina; his sister Linda Rogers of Sebring, FL; his half-brother Kevin Wendel (Teresa) of St. Marys; his sisters-in-law, Linda Wendel of Celina, Sue Adams of Celina and Judy Wilson of St. Marys; and his step-sister Amy Bubp (John) of St. Marys. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
