We are sad to announce that, on July 12, 2020, at the age of 76, Mary Heppeard Massengill of Celina, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Heppeard and Wilma Heppeard; and her daughter Jodi Heppeard Hughes. She is survived by: her sons, Lester Vernon Colson of Pontotoc and Robert Colson of Celina; her grandchildren, Kaylea Beougher of Lutz, Bill (Kristy Brown), Richard (Summer Kupper) and Sherry Kupper of Columbus; and her siblings, Robert Heppeard (Martha) of Orlando, Shirley Mae Thompson (Dan) of Lucas, Ruth Ann Braun (Gerald) of Celina, Sandra Kay Reichert (Dan) of Celina and John Michael Heppeard (Jamie) of Celina. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Mercer County Council on Aging.

“My deepest sympathy for the loss of your sister, grandmother. Mary was a babysitter for my sister Marlene and I back in the mid 60's. My mother, June Timmerman and Wilma worked at Goodyear together. My parents and Bruce and Wilma were good friends. I can remember visiting your place in the country, somewhere around Celina, and playing with Sandy. Some very fond memories. Again my deepest sympathies.”
