He was predeceased by: his father James Newton Baker; and his brother James Baker. He is survived by: his wife Debra Baker (Mohler); his son Mikie Jr.; his stepchildren, Ronald Schriver (Brie) of Latty and Tera Lovelace (Shane) of Van Wert; and his brother John Baker of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Preferred memorials may be donated to Grand Lake Hospice, St. Marys.
