He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Franzer and Annella Franzer (Prenger); his parents-in-law, Edward and Anna Marie Severt; and his in-laws, Don Ahrens, Gerald Severt and Virginia Severt of Coldwater.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Franzer (Severt); his children, Neal Franzer of Portland, Greg Franzer, Christopher Casey of Houston, Mark and Tracy Franzer of Celina; his grandsons, Paul and Luke; and his in-laws, Marlene, Joe Overman of Coldwater, Shirley, Roger Albers of Osgood, Mary Lou, Roger Homan of Philothea, Bill, Sandy Franzer of Carthagena, Alice Ahrens of Celina, Sharon Franzer of St. Henry, Lois, Ted Lyons of Versailles, Amy, Jerry Schlarman of New Weston, Marilyn Severt of Coldwater, Barb of Coldwater, Frank Elking of Coldwater, Tom of Coldwater, Lisa Severt of Coldwater, Jack of Coldwater and Kathleen Severt of Michigan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home (715 E Main St, Coldwater, OH 45828). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (102 W Main St, Coldwater, OH 45828).
