He is survived by: his girlfriend Betty Lawrence; his sons, Michael Petit (Renee Huston) of Celina and Mitchell Petit (Brandy) of Fort Recovery; his grandchildren, Katherine Reinhart (Jordan), Miranda Winters (Kelsey), Lukas Petit, Jonathan Petit, William Petit, Chance Petit and Abigail Petit; and his sisters, Linda Hart of Columbus Grove and Cindy Remaklus-Hicks of Alvo, Nebraska..
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home (901 Myers Rd, Celina, OH 45822-1135). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dayton National Cemetery.
