It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney E. Downey of Celina, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Downey and Ruth Downey (Gremling). He is survived by : his spouse Jaruwan Downey (Ganmani); his children, Barbara Germann (Kenny), Celina and Eric Downey (Dina); his grandchildren, Blake and Peyton Germann; and his siblings, Joe Downey (Lila), Jerry Downey (Sue), Mick Downey, Ralph (Sheila) and Judy Fennig (Lee).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Grand Lake Hospice, St. Marys and/or Celina American Legion Post #210 and/or Celina VFW Post #5713.
