He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stachler and Clara Stachler (Dickerson); his brothers, Robert, Mike and John Stachler; and his brother-in-law Barry Rolfes.
He is survived by: his sons, Shane Stachler of New Knoxville, Lance Stachler (Melissa) of Newark and Heath Stachler (Kristi) of Celina; his grandchildren, Audrey Hunlock (Nathan), Luke Stachler, Emily Stachler, Matt Stachler, Kortney Schoenleben (Cade) and Hunter Stachler; his siblings, Ron Stachler (Janet) of Celina, Sue Rolfes of Celina and Jane Rye (Bill) of Glynwood; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Stachler of Celina and Pat Brockman of Portland.
