He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Leroy and Kathryn Slusser (Dysert); his wife Marlene Lagora Slusser (Korfhagen); his siblings, Jerry Slusser, Samuel Slusser and Virginia "Anne"; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Aker, Myra Dysert and Mary Korfhagen.
He is survived by: his children, Toni K. Schroyer (Dave) of Celina, Joel A. Slusser of Celina, Tommy E. Slusser of Las Vegas, Sam R. Slusser (Kimbra) of Celina, Lisa M. Dery (Conrad) of Van Wert and Shelly S. James (Andy) of Osawatomie, Kansas.; and his sisters-in-law, Maxine Slusser of Bradenton, FL, Marjorie Shinn (Celina) and Myrna Huelsman of Bradenton, FL. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar Cisco Funeral Home (6921 State Rte 703, Celina, OH 45822). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post #5713 Scholarship Fund and/or the Celina American Legion Post #210 Scholarship Fund.
