He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Dorman Hughes and Eugenia D. Hughes (Rich); his son Joseph B. Hughes; his brother-in-law Ed Burns; and his uncle Meredith Hughes (Janice).
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Hughes (Balcerzak); his daughter Tiffany Hughes-Busch of Celina, OH; his daughter-in-law Shaunda Burkholder-Hughes of Celina, OH; his sisters, Cathy Burns of Decatur, IN and Nancy Millstone of Carmel, IN; and his friends, Dan Sendelbach, Trucking Buddies, Jim Blanchard (Annette) of Darien, NY, Charles McCormick (Jenny) of Henderson, KY, Bryan Searcy of Idaho, William Abbott (Abby) of Colombia, MO and William Coker (Carol) of Charleston, SC.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren 1 great-granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
