He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Thurston of Miamisburg and Phillip Thurston (Nida); his nieces and nephews, Julie Smith, Duane Thurston, Angie Works, Joseph Thurston, Theresa Freniere and Derrick Orlik; and his half-sisters, Gaynella McGuire of Kentucky and Iona Brenneman of California.
