He was predeceased by: his father Carmen M. Strout (Kemp); his wife Genevieve E. Strout (King); his siblings, Philip Strout, June Howard Frieswick, Lucille Weroniecki, Virginia Smith and Judith Roberts; his grandson Keith Homstad Jr.; his great grandchildren, Benjamin Bigboy and Matthew Bigboy; and his son-in-law Patrick Northcott.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Bigboy, Carol Jones (Ron), Bonnie Northcott (Patrick), Gayemarie Long (Bob), Carl D. Strout Jr. (Kathy), Melody Shull (Sonny), Lisa Hadley (Guy), Donna Strout, Richard Strout (Liz), Sherrie Webb (Mark) and James Strout (Mary); and his sisters, Estelle Ellis and Elaine Andrews. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren.
