It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aphrodite Lane (Centerville, Ohio), who passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Aphrodite Lane to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Economides and Evangeline Michael Economides; her husband Edwin Glenn Lane; her sister Chrissoula Hodgkinson; her daughter-in-law Beth Lane; her niece Diane Maas; her nephew-in-law John Maas; and her brothers-in-law, John Howsmon and Jack Hodgkinson.
She is survived by: her sister Maria Howsmon; her children, Gary Lane (Debbie) and Marcia Lane Graeff (Richard); and her grandchildren, Nathan, Kim, Elaina, Abigail and Melanie. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
