He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McCloskey and Louise McCloskey; his significant other Mary Eileen McCloskey; his grandson Ryan Beaty; and his son-in-law William Eisenhauer.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Beaty (Gene), Jan Eisenhauer (Jim Stephenson), Thomas (Tnle) and Mike (Stacey); his grandchildren, Heather (Adam), Lindsey (Sam), William (Kelly), Matthew, Andrew (Holly), Clippr (Taylor), Beket, Lily, Max, Kyle (Aubrey), Katie and Kara (Bryce); and his great grandchildren, Brenna, John, Margaret and Mohan.
