He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wayne and Virginia McLaughlin (McCoy); and his wife Nancy Lynn McLaughlin (Furay). He is survived by: his children, Bradford McLaughlin (Shanna) and Nancy Bell (Wayne); his grandchildren, Nancy Cadence and Barrett Kaliber; his siblings, Jean Ann Butler, Eric McLaughlin and Kevin McLaughlin (Kim); and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Rick and Juliana Furay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (201 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503).
