She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaf Pretorius and Bertha Mostert. She is survived by: her husband Stephen S. Smith; her son Raymond S. Smith (Annette) of Kettering, Ohio; her granddaughters, Sarah Smith of Kettering and Anna Bruns (Jeff) of Cincinnati, Ohio; her great grandchild Eleanor "Ellie" Mae Bruns; and her caregiver Dorothea.
