He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlo Mattia and Jeanne Mattia; his wife Sharon; and his brother Joseph Mattia. He is survived by: his sister Anita Rosato (Carmine); his sister-in-law Cathy Zunk (Keith); his daughters, Christina Houck (Mark) and Michelle Stoffregen (Jim); his grandchildren, Ashley Houck, Tyler Houck, Amber Houck, Zachary Houck, Justin Houck, Natalie Kauffman (Matt), Rachel Key (Jared) and Trevor Stoffregen; and his great grandchildren, Zoe Key, Ella Key, Joy Key, Lainey Kauffman, Everly Kauffman and Westley Kauffman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stubbs - Conner Funeral Home (185 N Main St, Waynesville, OH 45068). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home (185 N Main St, Waynesville, OH 45068).
