With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Arthur Boggs of Centerville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 85. As James Arthur departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James Arthur. Though James Arthur may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Jones; his son-in-law Ray Jones; his grandchildren, Shannon (Matt Randolph), Michael (Kristen Jones), Isaiah, Josiah, Lydia Randolph, Noah and Mason Jones; his sisters-in-law, Juanita Rausch and Patsy Pierson; and his wife Alma Boggs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Spaulding Road Church of God (1658 Spaulding Rd, Dayton, OH 45432). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
