She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Mitchell; and her parents, Marzella Briggs Creighton (Smith) and William Briggs. She is survived by: her children, Karen Colwell (Boyd) and William Mitchell (Sue); her sisters, Nancy Master and Ann Corner (Jack); her grandchildren, Matthew Lipinski (Erica), Erin Mitchell, Adam Colwell (Erin), Megan Mitchell and Amie Jimmerson (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Ryan Lipinski, Anna Lipinski, Mitchell Hunt, Garrett Hunt, Olivia Colwell and Penelope Colwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church (https://secure.myvanco.com) or to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
