He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Jack" Hunter and Norma Jean Hunter; and his brother Jeffery Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Hunter; his siblings, Joe (Carmen), Tim (Darlene), Teresa (Kurt) and Brenda; his children, Russell and Angie; his grandchildren, Emily, Ford and Alissa; and his great grandchildren, Forest and Ivie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
