He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil King and Bette King. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Carrie (Neil Stewart), Leslie King, Laura and Mark (Cindy Pitzele); his grandchildren, Colin, Owen, Eli, Isla, Ryan and Maya; his sisters, Janan and Sally; and his nieces and nephews, Mindy (Chris), Nick, Brent (Kinsey) and Tami (Aaron).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
