He is survived by: his wife Nancy Burton; his children, Andrea Frederick (John) and Blair Burton (Rachel); his stepchildren, Tammy Wolfe (Kenneth), Scott Banford (Laura) and Tricia Banford; his grandchildren, Shane Frederick, Trent Frederick (Kady), Luke Frederick (Cyntia), Olivia Scott, Natalie Frederick, Lacey Liles (Matt), Hunter Burton, Nicolas Burton, Amanda Banford, Tyler Banford, Daniele Pathenos, Anthony Pathenos and Megan [Guingona]; and his brother Lynn Burton. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home - Kettering (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton in Richard's honor.
