He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Carlton Brooks and Jane Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Brooks; his son Richard Brooks (Melissa); his grandchildren, Joshua and Erika; and his cousin Karen Smith. He is also survived by several in laws, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429). A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1625 Calvary Ave, Kettering, OH 45409).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton or a charity of your choice in his name.
