She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Estep and Eula Estep (Downey); her former husband Joseph Lee Ball; and her spouse Sidney Triever Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Ball (Vicki) of Centerville, OH, David "Shane" Ball (Angela) of Jackson, MI, Michael Smith (Dawn) of Marion, OH and Mark Smith (Kathi) of Marion; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Ball and Barb Riggs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221).
Memorial contributions can be made in Rose's honor to benefit Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
