He was predeceased by : his parents, John C. Strasshofer and Minnie Strasshofer; his siblings, Walter, Robert, John Jr. and Regina; and his in-laws, Vaino and Miriam Jokela.

He is survived by : his wife Bernice; his children, Paul, Glenn Strasshofer and Beth Kaplan (Richard); and his grandchildren, Anna Strasshofer and Alexander Bill.

The family requests that donations be made to The Chautauqua Institute in the names of Albert and Bernice Strasshofer.
