He was predeceased by : his son James; and his father Fred A. Lennon (Alice Phillips). He is survived by : his wife Susan Lennon (Scott); his children, John (Elizabeth Eells), Thomas (Kim Hammer), William (Virginia Pickerill), Timothy (Abbey Steele) and Patrick (Nicole LaGanke); his sister Catherine (Lennon) Lozick (Edward); and his grandchildren, Riggs, Brooks, Billy, Charles, Aubrey, Sarah, Allison, Sean, James, Katelyn and Casey Rose.

To quote a close friend: "John was a guy who could have chosen to dine at any of the finest clubs or restaurants in the world, but I think, as much as anything, he enjoyed a hotdog on our front porch surrounded by true friends."In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of John to Geauga County Blue Coats, Inc. P.O. Box 23721, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023.
