While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norm and Florence; and his brother Ken. He is survived by: his significant other Laura Lee Owens; and his children, Sarah, Chas and Andrew. He is also survived by his children; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Wildlife Federation or Rescue Village in Novelty, Ohio.
