He was predeceased by: his sister Merle Vertes (Victor); and his parents, Samual Edward and Elinor Schumann. He is survived by: his wife Christina Schumann; his children, Anthony Schumann (Carla), David Schumann (Judy), Stephanie Schumann and Nicollette; his grandchildren, Nicole Riffle (Drew), Maxx (Viviana), Madison Beenau (Zack), Jonah Schumann, Mark Mazzieri, Benjamin Schumann "Brooke" and Evan Schumann (Marisa); and his great grandchildren, Oliver Riffle, Remy Riffle, Opal Beenau, Maisel Beenau, Owen Schumann and Leo Schumann.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Berkowitz - Kumin - Bookatz Memorial Chapel (1985 S Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118). A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Mayfield Cemetery (2749 Mayfield Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44106).
