He is survived by: his wife Janet Shields (Grant); his children, Clint Shields (Oana), Rachel Cassady (Nick), Cody Shields (Kelly) and Drake Shields; his grandchildren, Camryn, Carsyn, Eric, Roman and Liam; his great grandchild Jourdyn; and his sisters, Vicki Shields, Susie Shields and Patty Gould.
