He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Eugene and Marion Ruth; and his wife Carole Smyers. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Carpeno (Bill) of Willowick, Joe Damm of Chardon, Linda Thompson (Mike) and Timmy Smyers; his sister Frances Young (Don) of Eastlake; his grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Matt, Mikey and Nick; and his great grandchild Luka.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made to St. William & St. Robert Parish, 367 E 260th St, Euclid, OH 44132.
