In loving memory of Bruce Howard Grasser (Chardon, Ohio), who departed this world on June 9, 2025 at the age of 84. Bruce Howard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Karen; and his brother Ken Grasser. He is survived by: his children, Chuck Grasser of Hambden Township, Shelly Grasser (Kim Wright) of Concord Township and Susan Aveni (Jim) of Concord Township; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Jillian, Michael Aveni, Callen and Nicholas Tommasone.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home & Cremation Services (116 South St, Chardon, OH 44024). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.

The family requests that memorial contributions in Bruce's name be made to The Foundation for Geauga Parks at https://www.foundationforgeaugaparks.org or Hospice of the Western Reserve at https://www.hospicewr.org .

Bruce was a person of great integrity, intellect, ability and competitive spirit. He worked in many different parts of Lubrizol bringing his problem solving ability, enthusiasm and friendliness to any assignment. He was a man who loved or cared deeply for many things.
