With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn M. Zietsma of Chardon, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on June 27, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn M. Zietsma to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Merce and Geneva Merce (Snyder); her husband Merlin; and her brother William Merce. She is survived by : her children, Jean Lehman (Jim), Laura Russell (Jamie), Mark Zietsma (Ruth) and Elaine Zakrzewski (Mark); and her sisters, Lou Ann Barclay and Linda Gomer (Sam). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may go to the Kempfer Memorial Scholarship Fund at Epiphany Lutheran Church.
