He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Malnar and Olga Malnar; and his sisters, Genevieve Malnar, Mary Ann Steele and Teresa Malnar.
He is survived by: his wife Teri Lynn Malnar; his sons, Nicholas Malnar (Melissa) of Painesville and Michael Malnar (Cheri) of Chardon; his granddaughter Malina Ann Malnar; his former wife Patricia "Boots" Malnar; Scott Brining of Louisville, Kentucky. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
