She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; her parents, Theodore Johnston and Beatrice Johnston; her sister Gay Morell; and her grandson Joshua Fanti.

She is survived by: her children, Glen Vernick (Amy), Missy Rein (Terry), Kimberly Krance (Donald), Brian Vernick (Tricia) and Julie Hunt (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Joel (Rachael), Jessie (Matt), Jacob, Terry Lee (Laura), Timothy (Mackayla Boggs), Zachary, Kristina, Jessica (Chris Byers), Dakota and Hope.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Lyn to Freedom Alliance Church.
