She was predeceased by: her parents, Waid Spangler and Mary Spangler; her husband William L. O'Brien; and her son Kevin O'Brien. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Butt (Arthur) of Middlefield and Erin Knife (Kevin) of Claridon Twp; her grandchildren, Christina O'Brien, Michael O'Brien, Stephanie Brown, Brittany Ferron (Nathan) and Kevin Knife (Sara); and her great grandchildren, Emily, Caitlin Seamon, Lyla, Mya Knife, Annie, Henry Brown, Everly and William Ferron. She is also survived by her family and life long friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home (116 South St, Chardon, OH 44024). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Western Reserve Memorial Gardens (11521 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026).
