He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lee and Rita Ann; his brother Andrew Welch; and his grandson James Kankula. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Welch; his daughters, Laura Holtz (Ryan) of Elyria, Diane Kankula (Scott) of Chardon and Karen Mucic (Nikola) of Montville; and his grandchildren, Scott Jr. Kankula (Savannah), Megan Kankula, Natalie Kankula and Everlee Mucic. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
