He was predeceased by: his wives, Charlotte and Marjorie Hess; his parents, Ernest and Gertrude; and his siblings, Laverne Erickson, Betty, Ernest, Eileen DeCrane and Carol Farinacci.
He is survived by: his sons, Cliff (Joanne) and Jim Cornelius; his stepchild Terry Winters; his grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth (James Hughes) and Stephanie Sevastos (Jon); his stepgrandchild Gene Winters (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Leo and Lucy Sevastos; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Morgan, Payton Winters and Ava Hughes.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the DeJohn Funeral Homes and Crematory - Chardon (126 South St, Chardon, OH 44024). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the All Souls Cemetery (10366 Chardon Rd, Chardon, OH 44024).
