It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca L. Murphy of Chardon, Ohio, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Morgan and Mary Morgan (Cane); her husband Jimmie D. Murphy; and her siblings, Bernard W Morgan, Raymond P Morgan, Boby D Morgan and Evelyn Jean Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Johnson (David), Rodney Murphy (Stephanie) and Kimberly Nichols (Chris); her grandchildren, Jessica Huffman (Brent), Kyle Johnson, Kevin Schneider, Katrina Schneider, Kallie Schneider, Nathan Murphy and Alyssa Murphy; her great grandchildren, Bethanie Huffman, Wyatt Huffman and Oliver Huffman; and her siblings, Mary Jo Ash, Shardon Judy Murphy, Bernice Swiger and Ernie Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Leroy Community Chapel (12920 Painesville Warren Rd, Painesville, OH 44077). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
