He was predeceased by : his parents, John H. Ward and Joycelaine Ward; his sister Joycelaine M. Ward; his mother-in-law Carole Chesser; and his brother-in-law Larry Grinstead.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Ann Saxton; his children, Kimberly Moulton (David), Casey Morse (Joel), Jesse Ward (Caitlin Rosberg) and Laura Ward; his grandchildren, Devin, Jason Moulton and Lauren Morse; his great grandchild Mackenzie Moulton; his siblings, Pamela Grinstead (late Larry), David Ward (Susan), Dawn Ward and Janet Kelsey (late Daryl); his brothers-in-law, David Chesser (Christine) and Mark Chesser (Dana); and his nieces and nephews, Kristine Shreves (Larry Jadrych), Steven Grinstead, David Grinstead (Michelle), John Ward (Alana), Jennifer Ward, Daniel McCurdy, Kyle Chesser (Angi), Erin Sapanaro (Patrick), David Novosel, Logan and Faith Chesser.
