It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Keith Douglas Jr. of Chauncey, Ohio, born in Nelsonville, Ohio, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald K. Douglas, Sr. and Carol Verity Douglas; and his brother Timothy A. Douglas. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Scott Douglas; his children, Dawn McKee (J. R.) of New Marshfield, Donald Douglas III (Dee) of The Plains and Brian Keith Douglas (Amanda) of Chauncey; his grandchildren, Jesse McKee, Brittany Douglas, Zach Douglas, Dallas Shafer, Austin Shafer, Collin Shafer, Carissa Taggart (Steve) and Ashley Forsythe; his great grandchild Kyler Forsythe; his siblings, Pam Dellatezza of North Carolina and Steve Douglas (Susan) of Athens; his mother-in-law Wanda Creamer of Stewart; his aunt Lucy Hawk of Athens; and his pet Oscar. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
