With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Gunter of Chauncey, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivor Boling and Katherine "Kat" McCabe Gunter Boling; his siblings, Patty, Joyce, Norman, Mickey, Rodney and Steve; and his sister-in-law Diana Enevoldsen.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bruce Gunter; his stepsons, Larry Rutter of Athens and Lance Rutter (Lori) of Athens; his grandchildren, Jack and Molly Rutter; his brother Cory Gunter of Sugar Grove; his mother-in-law Edith Bruce of Chauncey; and his close friends, Bela and Louie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his pet.
